National Book Store: Read Out Loud For A Better Future.

Books have their own unique effect on each individual. When we get to hold books in our hands and flip through its pages, words enchant us, opening our minds to new experiences. There are books that inform and educate people, from general facts about life to how to cook exotic dishes. There are also books that take you on exciting adventures, scare you through thrilling feats, and of course, books that make you feel all kinds of love – even the unimaginable. Nothing beats the feeling of finishing a book and adding it to your bookshelf, knowing that you’ve been changed by what you read. While there may be thousands of books published out there, some just stick with us and are worth sharing with the rest of the world.

What are your favorite books?

6 Reasons Why You Must Not Stay at Space EDSA

Back in high school, I used to live in a dormitory. It was deadly exhausting to commute everyday at 5:30am then go home at 6pm so my parents allowed me to live in the school dormitory.
Fast forward to 2017.... My school is in Ortigas and most of the time, my work and meetings are either in Makati or in Ortigas. I spend almost 5 hours everyday on the road! YES 5 HOURS!!! By the way, I live in Rizal. It's not that far as you think it is. Without the heavy traffic, Ortigas is just (a kembot) 15-30 minutes away but because I'm in the Philippines, that distance takes me 2-3 hours going to Ortigas, 1.5-2.5 hours going back not including the time I spend falling in line or waiting for the shuttle/bus.

I realized that wasting so much time is not healthy anymore. Time is precious! I know I can do more things if I lessen my commute hours so I decided to look for a place to stay in. I found Space EDSA and here are 6 reasons why you must not stay at Space EDSA.

Pocket Full of Summer with Gardenia’s Pocket Sandwich

I can really feel summer now! Grabe.... It makes me want to go to the nearest beach but it isn't feasible for me now. (#busygirlkunwari) Good thing we just had a school retreat this week and I got to bond with my friends! We had some time to breathe and clear up our minds!

Anyway, do you remember those usual "field trips" back in grade school or high school where baon is required? Haha! Well, baon is not required here but I brought Gardenia's new Pocket Sandwich with me. Something to share!
